Description
The upper end of the casing string and the cementing pipe sink are connected by the cement head. To hold the cement plug in place while it pumps down the casing during the cementing procedure, cementing heads are fitted to the top joint of the casing string. Generally speaking, cementing heads can accommodate both top and bottom plugs.
