Description
Installed in the lower seal area of the casing spool or tubing head, secondary seal assemblies are used to provide redundant well security between the casing annulus and the flanged connection of a casing head, casing spool, or tubing head. They can provide a unique sealing capability for FRAC equipment in some cases. Secondary seal assemblies are available in a variety of forms.
